Ask a question. Or create a cue: tell it when to join in, and what to offer.

How it joins in

The same signals work on the Chandelier and Lamp. It can also respond with light alone.

An offer of help when you’re searching for an answer.

Set an instruction ahead of time, change it, or pause it. Conversation cues can get things wrong; you can correct or dismiss them.

of real conversations.

We’ve developed the living-art technology behind the Chandelier in front of people—at Burning Man, in a New York home, on stage and at School. Their conversations, curiosity and reactions inform the experience we’re bringing to your home.

The Chandelier and its supporting home system · Product concept

One imagination.
Throughout your life.

A centerpiece for your time together. A little wonder in the next room. Living art to take with you.

A family shares a story beneath three illuminated cubes on a central stem in a warm, open living room.

The Chandelier

Where you come together.

Living art that follows the conversation. Answers and reminders, when you want them.

Living with
a supercomputer.

More possibility for your family.
More control over what stays private.

Why put a supercomputer in your home?

Local AI models are becoming more capable at reasoning, conversation and using tools. More of the work you currently send to a remote AI service can happen on hardware you own—including work involving sensitive family information. Your home gains new possibilities while you choose the models, memory and connections.

What could it help my family do?

Turn a family story into living art. Help make sense of household spending. Practice a new language with your children. Find a film in your media library and bring the music, screen and lights together for movie night.

We’re building toward these experiences with local models and compatible home systems: useful intelligence that gives you more to do and share together.

What stays private?

Local models can process your family’s conversations and documents at home. Outside services are separate choices; you decide which can connect and what they receive.

Conversation memory lasts 30 minutes by default. We always ask before remembering something longer. Recording starts only after everyone present agrees.

How does it fit into my home?

One computer serves the Chandelier, Lamps, phone and laptop over your home network. Keep it on display or in a suitable equipment room. We plan the network, power, cooling and access around your space, drawing on our installation experience in Nouriel Roubini’s home.

As compatible models and software improve, you can add new capabilities and extend the experience to more rooms.

The home system is in development. Your demonstration and installation plan confirm the experiences, models, connected devices and privacy controls included in your setup.

Prototype foundation

A canvas on every side.

LED panels carry the living art around the cube. The working prototype already uses LED matrices and a local display controller.

The finished panel specification and enclosure are still being developed.

Inside the cube · Design visualization. Final components and placement are in development.

Listening, memory and privacy

30-minute memory. Longer only with your permission. Conversation context is retained for 30 minutes by default. We always ask before remembering something longer. Recording is a separate choice: we ask everyone present and start only after they agree.

The design includes a visible listening indicator, a way to pause listening, and a distinction between temporary conversation context and moments you choose to keep. If included, the camera would be off by default; a physical shutter and clear activation indicator are part of the design.

Speech and sensor processing are intended to stay local. Outside services and remote access need their own security and data-flow review. These controls are in development; your proposal will specify what stays in the home and what can leave it.

What we’re exploring

Microphones, audio output, contactless radar, depth sensing and environmental sensors would connect the cube to the room. Sensor windows, acoustic openings, cooling and service access must be resolved in the final enclosure.

Radar is being evaluated for breathing and heart-rate estimates, beginning with seated, relatively still participants. Movement, position and multiple people make reliable readings harder. The Lamp offers a starting point closer to a participant. These signals would not be treated as proof of an emotion.

Technology references: Infineon radar demonstration, ST depth sensing and Sensirion environmental sensing. These demonstrate component possibilities, not validated Chandelier capabilities.
